Wow. This is a big shock to me, and I bet a bigger shock to Green Bay. They are royally screwed this year now!

Why are they screwed? Aaron Rodgers isn't some washed up back-up QB. He has been learning behind Favre for years, and has great legs, pocket awareness, and a solid arm. I've been waiting for a while to see Rodgers finally be the starter.

yes considering he has been "retiring" for a few seasons now. also they had a great season and looked like they had a great team chemistry building. so shock is an understatement.

yes rodgers is a good qb but hes got some big shoes to fill, how would you like taking over for one of the top 10qbs of all time? that has to be a huuuuge mental obstacle for him to hurdle, its going to be tough on him imo. GB always has a special place in my football heart because of number 4, talk about a guy who left it on the field every game. at least he left on a winning season and he got a ring before he retired.

Not a surprise to see him finally "retire".

Like zerioustt said above me...he's been "retiring" for a while now...guess he's serious this time!
