Just started and i got my own office, hellz yea.

Funny thing is, while i was doing what i was told to do a dude came in the office and was like,

Hi,
Im here for our appointment at 2.
I had my mouth full of candy too cause a lady opened a $50 000 000 account who happened to own a chocolate company and sent us a **** load of candy.lol

Every office had a lil tv with the financial news on, they were talking about the video games (xbox, PS3, and Wii) for a while lol

I guided him in the right direction.

If you guys only knew how much money pplz invest, dammnn...

And yeah, of course rich people invest a lot. That's why they are rich, they know what they are doing most times.

Ha ha, Yea doing some work with Morgan Stanley. Not sure where in business i wanna go yet though, just getting some names on paper right now to back me up. Hopefully doing another internship with an advertising company over the summer if i have time (getting wasted with friends at the beach is more important, lol. J/K), hopefully gonna work with a photographer around hot models.

These days its not as much about what you know, its mostly about who you know. Once you get in the door, they will teach you.

Ha what Morgan stanley is that? My firm does all the renovations and construction of new offices on the east coast and i just finished a bunch over in PA.

I sure as hell wouldn't trade my paycheck for some networking oppertunity...

I've always thought as an internship as a non-paying position, but I'm guessing that isn't the case with the OP.

I should hire some "interns" at my company so I can have them "learn" the industry (while doing my bitch work) and not have to pay them.

not all internships are free.

In most cases networking is worth more than a paycheck to a college student. Especially since the OP is in the country for school

Oh your in the Morgan Stanley east coast office...our project manager for them worked out of that office...but he was just let go IDK if you would know him or not. We arent doing that expansion, i actually just finished working on Blue Bell & Wayne (Valley Forge) PA...
