Brake pads and rotors for a DD SUV?

It's time to replace the brake pads in the Infiniti again. I usually send it to my mechanic and have him do it for me with generic POS parts because i'm too lazy to jack up the car, take off a few bolts, etc etc... I think i'm going to do it right this time and replace the rotor and pad with something proper and dependable.

I'm looking at either EBC or Hawks for brake pads. I'm not too sure on which but i would like something with less brake dust. I live in NYC so it's stop and go traffic everyday in a 2+ ton SUV.

Rotors? I'm not too sure either. Power slots?

Thanks.

I wouldn't bother with slotted rotors for the street, they'll chew up pads way quick and more likely to warp. I've been running Hawk HPS for a while now, I love those pads, they stop my 4500 lb car pretty quick.
