I picked this up after selling my 98 GSX A/T. It's a 91 Talon TSi FWD. Doesn't have much work done to it now. Just SS valves, crower springs/retainers, ARP headstuds, Mistu headgasket a 16g, MBC, K&N filter, Short throw shifter, Magnecore plug wires as told by the previous owner. I just put a Punishment Racing UICP on and got a Buschur racing 3" TBE on the way I picked up used. Also ordered a new set of Topline revised lifters because I think one of them are bad or sticking. Just changed the gear oil with some GM synchromesh, the car runs real smooth. Once spring comes i'm gonna nightshades the tail lights and paint the wheels black. Gotta find a 2g intake pipe to hook up the 2g MAS also. Heres some pics.

Its more fun to drive since its a 5sp, but no where near as fast yet. GSX was deffinately more comfortable, this 1g seat is killing my back. I don't plan on modding it crazy yet, I want an Evolution next. If I do ever want to mod I probably wont go any bigger then a 50 trim/20g with the turbo, some 650's, fmic, 255, SAFC 2, coilovers etc. , have a nice decent WHP highway cruiser.

Haha, na its not sinking, I live on a little hill. Though my front porch is sinking which is only a few houses down to the left. Thanks fro the comments, once I get a new camera i'll actually go out and take some decent pics. These were with my phone so I just wanted to sow everyone.

PANDA!!!!!!!!!!! Im actually thinkin about buying a sleeper 1G FWD to make into a highway monster myself. Nice find.

Yea, don't get me wrong I love AWD but I think it would be cool to build a 350 whp fwd, it'll do some damage on the highway. I do want to get a decent suspension also.

Ha, great luck. The tapping sound I thought was a bad lifter has gotten worse, sounds like a bent valve. Looks like i'm pulling the head off.

dude that sucks!! happened in my 1g as well, except that the valve bent the piston and the whole shinanigans!! Best if luck to you, but hey at least you get to start building it now....
