you're using a film camera correct? i just ask because the colors look off just a bit. maybe its the lighting, im not sure, but something looks a bit off.

yes i am using a film camera...i would say the colors look off a bit maybe since i probably f'ed them up with the crappy editing thing i have on my comp...btw-im not blaming the software...i blame myself haha

hm, they look pretty similar. might just be the subjects are lacking spectacular color.

yeah the garfield thing is an old piggy bank and is way off color from what it should be...the lighting in my bathroom also is pretty bad so the color on the tp and the qtips is a little off

thanks man...i need some different subjects to shoot...i think i will be entering a picture into the february photo contest...the subject is very interesting to me...any votes would put a huge smile on my face haha....we will see how it turns out

steal away haha...id love to see what someone with actual photography talent could do with something i probably screwed up big time haha...i think the february contest will be pretty good, i think alot of people like the subject and i actually already started shooting some shots...i have some ideas going

It's the speed of the film, or how much light is needed to properly expose it. On DSLRs we can change the ISO at our will, but when you buy film its a set ISO. So if you still have the box just look on the box it'll say a number in the hundreds (200,400,800, etc).

They are a really great start...try using natural light like from a window, you'll get more interesting shadows and the backgrounds will not be so dark.

thanks...if you go back to some of my other threads, I tested out some shots at tyler state park and another park down the street from me...different lighting and all

Yeah that sounds right. I like the toilet paper shot a lot, do you remember what your fstop number was for that? Also what kinda lens are you using?

not sure on the number...i suck at this numbers and technical stuff...im using the lens that came with the camera...its a 25-90mm canon...glad you liked one of the shots, like i said, i am just starting to get used to some of this stuff and really dont know what alot of the technical stuff means exactly yet but learning for sure
