Any Preferences on Tripods?

I need a tripod for my D40. Obviously I'd like whichever tripod I'd get to last and be well built. I've been looking around and can't really find a huge difference. The only real differences are how high they can go or if it's one of those mini tripods. I'd like the real deal.

Here's what I've looked at, it's the cheapest and one of the taller ones that I've seen, not the tallest, but I'm not concerned about that. Any opinions or suggestions?

Only supports 5 lbs, which is a bit low. For a dslr, you'll want legs and a head that can hold at least 9-10 lbs.

^^How much were they? For a setup similair to Phuong's Amazon is offering something like $270. I might wait a little while at that price.

I'm using a Bogen 3021 BPRO and Bogen 422RC2, which is overkill for what you probably want a tripod ($260 set up) but overkill is good since you want a sturdy set up. Your shot is only as good as your tripod leg/head. If it's not sturdy, you'll get a crappy shot. You can find a set of 3011 or 3021 (non BPRO) for about $90-100. You can find a Bogen 486RC2 for about $70 new or $55 used. This set up is about $150 used / $190 new. Visit ebay or fredmiranda.com for used gear.

Bang for the buck...

I like this because it has x y axis tighten adjustments... and is not flimsy like best buy tripods...
