Honestly.... its a fair sentence. Its slightly heavier then the other 2 involved... and the added bonus that he is losing endorsement deals, and a career.... He did step up, admit his faults, and also started serving prision time before thanksgiving on his own free will (mind you, prolly to get a lesser sentence in court). Although he was not playing football at the time, he could of been spending that time with his family and friends, but he WANTED to rot in a jail cell.


Im just happy that he got a fair sentence, and not a generic "slap on the wrist"

What about all the dogs that he locked up, and let out only to "train" and fight... not to mention killed

Hopefully a federal "pound me in the ass" prison.... (office space).

I personally think that 23 months is nothing compared to what he should have gotten. Its puny punishments like that that dont deter people from commiting crimes in the first place.

And yes, this is a Federal "pound me the ass" prision. State charges havent started yet.

i think 23 months should be an understatment for min for torturing and killing animals.
The bastard should where an electric collar, and get zapped whenever we damn well feel like it while learning how to take it like a dog picken up the soap.

Federal guidlines say he has to serve at least 80% of his sentance so that means at least 18 months

I'm sure I'm not the only one not satisfied by his sentence

23 months, most likely 18, for torturing and killing how many animals? What if one of his little killers got free and attacked someone? You think he'd get in trouble? I doubt it cause that dog would never have been traced back to him.

Vick is a monster plain and simple. 23 months just isn't enough time for the lives of those dogs.

I wonder how many people's pets he had used as bait dogs to train the fighters...

seriously, relax. I think its a fair sentence and am halfways surprised he got even that much being a celebrity. There are worse things in this world to be concerned with. **** fighting is only now becoming illegal in louisiana.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but what did you expect? Lol. Vick manned up, took his sentence and he got cut a break by doing so. It is certainly not an uncommon event, and it's not just a small slap on the wrist like we were all expecting. Take what you can get I suppose.

Just because you think its a fair sentence, doesn't mean others will. I for one am not one of those that agree with you. On top of that, I was asked why I didn't think it was fair. And there is at least on other person in this thread who shares the same opinion as i do that vick didn't get enough of a sentence for his crime.
