Damn thats pretty nuts. I've seen those suits before, but never used the way they are in the film. People usually just jump off a like building a soar down, the mountain stuff is crazy. Yeah, I remember when nights came out lol. I still actually have a sega saturn and that game, it stopped reading disks tho.. That and Daytona USA were the **** lol.

I wonder how fast they are going? I also wonder (I would think that there would almost have to be) what kind of weight limit the suit has per surface area. What kind of height do they have to deploy the parachutes? They look damn low! The control that they have is just ridiculous!

That's one of the coolest things that I have seen thing! They're like flying squirrels, only cooler!

I think it said they were reaching speeds of around 100mph. Even in free fall can't the human body only fall up to around 120mph or so? I guess it really depends on your weight, cause once you reach a certain speed your not going to fall any faster. Towards the end of the video he pulls the chute and it seems like he is pretty low to be deploying it.. Not that this wouldn't be fun, but it would take alot of balls and its definatly something to work up to. Would have to try some regular diving first to get good at this.

JAT stewardess Vesna Vulović survived a fall of 33,000 feet (over 10,000 meters)[1] on January 26, 1972 when she was thrown from JAT Flight 364, after the plane exploded over Srbská Kamenice in former Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). She broke several bones and was in a coma for 27 days.

Just read that on wikipedia. That is CRAZY to be able to fall that far and survive hitting the ground..

Those suits have been around for a very long time. A couple of years ago it was on Ripleys Believe it or Not and the suit traveled over 5 miles before the guy had to deploy his parachute
