I've heard that Lansdale varies from reasonably safe to reasonably sketchy. How is the area around the Lansdale cemetery - a few blocks from S. Broad @ Main st route 63. Looking at a house for rent there & haven't had the chance to visit yet.

Towards the cemetery. South along Broad st. I see now there's a metro station just north of main street, and if my experience in baltimore means anything, that's a bad thing.

I'm personally not a huge fan of that part of Lansdale... but there are worse areas.

A friend of mine lives in Lansdale.

Give me a better idea of the location and I'll ask him what the area is like.

over there is decent. is more right in lansdale thats sketchy. lansdale isnt that bad you just gotta stay away from the bad people/areas.

Is it double-lock-the-garage sketchy or dont-let-girlfriend-out-after-dark sketchy?

lansdale sketchy? i mean i think it has its normal level of creeps and weirdos but i really dont think its bad at all...i mean you would always wanna lock everything but i feel that way about everywhere now.

theres only really 2 streets that arent the greatest. but for the rest its fine. its just like any other little outside town of a major city. your gonna have ur crime and childish stuff and hard asses.

I have been all over Lansdale and lived about a block from the train station on Walnut for a little bit. Worked there, hung there, etc. Never have I thought that any area was sketchy or dangerous.
Lock your doors of course and there are idiots there like anywhere else but it isn't a dangerous town IMO.
