Not only the risk of ingesting something foreign but it does nothing for pulling in cool air behing that close to the motor. I'd run a 3-4" intake pipe to a place that you can draw cooler air from.
The car looks fantastic. Congrats on getting it finished up.

well I guess at some point I should post something on this page lol.
Alright - so apparently I have no intake :thumbdow: but it does sound great as the turbo starts to spool . Ha, the real problem is I can't make an intake fit anywhere. The piping Revhard has for the intake wraps around the battery and leaves no room for anything. So, if someone is a little crafty, and can make an intake fit - pleaz let me know. Trust me, I'm scared to death of ingesting something.At the moment my engine management is a P72 with hondata S200B. errr, S300 just came out today, So i'll probably just order that soon. In the meentime I'm street tuned with a boost cut at 1psi ( thank smp606 for that one!! - he just doesn't want me to blow my motor) It's already faster than the car ever was, but i can't exceed 15% throttle. Not to mention every tuner I've called either lost a "hondata tuning part" or is booked till October  . So, if you know a good Hondata tuner that can take me asap PM me NOW!!

to fit a filter on the turbo...
get yourself a slimline fan for your radiator... the shroud on the stock fan doesn't help with the space issue. once u get a slimline installed u can run a filter no problem
