I just applied for a job in KoP that is just about 3 times as much as I'm getting paid in Hershey. And I've got a good chance of getting hired b/c my buddy works at the company doing the same stuff I do on the side. The recruitment company has contacted my references, seen my work, and is sending my application in to the contracting company with their approval. I should know today if the contracting company wants to interview and/or hire me.

I've just got my fingers crossed I get the job.

right now I do recruitment and pr work for a marketing company of a fortune 500 resort chain in hershey.

If I get the job I'll be doing web design/programming as I do on the side a little www.monkey-garage.com

Thanks Buster, I should know today whether or not they want to interview me... this waiting BS has got to end and I need to know what else I have to do...

Good luck and if you need any help dealing (housing, things to do....etc) with KOP area, LMK. I think this area is great. I mean, very close to all major road ways and ALOT of places to live well. the 422 and 202 corodors are pretty sweet.

I know the feeling. I'm waiting for a call back from a place in Newark. Although the position I interviewed for is not exactly the position I'm hoping to get.

interview is next friday or monday in person. The manager didn't want to do a phone interview, so its a day off from work to do an interview. Time to tell my boss I have a family issue come up and I need to be home either friday or monday :-)

move to ephrata when my lease is up in Hershey, that'll cut a half hour off my commute. Maybe sell the SRT. get a decent used SUV, get a car trailer get a GLH-S lol

nah, I don't have anything figured out. lol. I know we'll be looking at another apartment come december when the lease runs out. Gonna need a little more space for the dog we're getting in a couple months. Probably buy a used vehicle w/ AWD for the winter for my commute
