***Road Hazard Warning!!!

Swamp Road in Newtown between Rt.232 and the Bypass is a rippled mess on the East?bound side. I travel this road frequently and within the past week a ~8"-10" crown has formed in the area of the Knob Hill/ Community College entrance. I hit it with my oil pan and it stopped the Mini!

Just a little 'heads up' for the folks with lowered cars and shtuff.

Skid plate- ordered.

is the mini okay? jesus that **** scares me. my friend hit a man hole cover one time that was sticking up after they shaved the ground and it tore the engine and tranny right out the side of the car.

Skid places are cool though lol.

The Mini is fine, with some serious scuffs to the oil pan and header. I am most happy that the pan didn't crack.

I was driving from 232 toward Newtown, and thought to myself 'Wow! this road suddenly turned bad' as I swerved to miss all of the shifted pavement. Then, suddenly, BAMMM! I high-centered the Mini. My oilpan is 6" off the ground.

At least the car is still "good".

Thanks for the heads-up though...that's really cool man.

I hit those bumps on my bike a few weeks back and almost got thrown over the front. It felt like I was a foot or more off the seat and almost crushed my manhood on the tank coming back down. I love riding Swamp, Mill Creek and Forest Grove, but the bumps and gravel are making it more dangerous.
