yea i bought my first one in 2000 and i absolutely loved it! Let it go for not enough money and have regretted it everyday since. Fun a** car to drive to. Bought a second one in 2002 but it was mitshu Starion and a auto. Auto just no fun. That one a old lady was nice enough to hit and total it. So im going to try it again! Ill let you guys no how it goes.

my friend got a starion when we were 16, and since he couldnt drive stick i got to drive it home. i was hooked right away. i always wanted one but he gave it away a couple years later and i never forgave him for it. good luck with it though. im gonna get one eventually (if i can find one).

i had an '89 SHP, was a fun car but a PITA to mod. stupid primitive fuel injection. was thinking about buying another as theres a nice one in the local paper for $1500, but then i remember that throttle body injection. i would buy one in a heartbeat if it had a 4g63 tho.

Awesome, I like the narrow body ones better. A few years ago I was driving through Jersey along some road in the middle of nowhere. There was this random little place surrounded by glass so you could see what was inside, kind of like a 1/10th scale dealership. There was no ajoining house or anything, just this random little place. Anyway, inside I counted 4 starquests that appeared to be in showroom condition! Nothing else, just 4 of these things that looked like they were taken off the assembly line and stuffed into this tiny place as if it was a time capsule. It was just bizarre.

Well guys i went to look at it last night! 101 miles away, wow what a ride. Im back and forth on the car and im not really sure what to do.

The good: car body is clean(very minimal rust, barely any) which is rare, front air dam in good shape(also hard to find), comes with a ton of extra parts.

The bad: Paint is faded now looks pink, two of the head bolts are stripped out and the guy tried taking the car apart himself and then gave up. There are parts and bolts all over the place(gonna be a nightmare to put back together), front seats are ripped pretty good(common but upsetting), turbo is shot(alot of shaft play)

Im sure im forgetting some good and bad but either way. Part of me wants it and part of me thinks this thing will cost a fortune to get back together. Due to lack of knowledge on my part and missing parts and screws on his end. He has a ton of extra parts alot of them probably useless but some i could def part out. So i dunno. What do you guys think?
