Spec V guys chime in please

Okay my girl stopped to look at a spec v. its a 2002 with 77k on the odo. They want 12k for it...its completely stock...now the blue book is only 8k....

Are they completely on drugs?

Or does the car hold value?

Wow that's way to many miles for the car for that price. I'm guessing they are confusing it with a n/a supra or somthing. My brothers is an 02 and bought it with 35 thousand at 13k. Look elsewhere.

They are on drugs. Offer them 8k and walk. If its been sitting long enough they will want to talk. If not I'm sure you can find another one.

mine has been fine with no oil consumption. the cars that did have issues were doing it since day one. or if the precat in the header took a dump and scored up the cylinder walls.

They are nuts! Keith bought his '02 4 years ago with 11k miles on it for $14,xxx. I wouldnt offer more than $8k for it.

First off, I bought mine new 4.5 years ago for 17k...12k for an '02 is the biggest f*cking joke ever. Even 8k is a bit on the high side.

2002 had the worst issues with oil consumption due to pre-cat failure, along with some transmission issues. The 2002 trannies have shorter gearing in 1st and 2nd...and it's still too short in '03 and up trannies, so I can only imagine how bad the 2002's are.

If she's truly interested, here's a link for a 2002 Spec for $6,200 in Jersey with mods.
