where to go for vacation

Been thinking i need to get away for a little bit. Nothing really crazy far or exspensive, but more like a nice long weekend or week excursion to some place where there is a good mix between relaxation and entertainment. I'll be going with my GF (so keep that in mind). I've been tossing aorund the idea of like baltimore, myrtle beach, boston, adirondiaks etc etc. So please if anyone knows of a cool place to go for a quick getaway let me know.

rhehoboth beach. i love that place. its extremely clean, family oriented, everything is within walking distance, and they have amazing restaurants. plus its not as crowded as ocean city MD. and the beach and water are clean as hell. I go there at least once a year with my girl

Lewes beach (which is a gay beach) is right next to rhehoboth which is rated one of the nicest beaches in DE.

plus its a 30 min drive to ocean city MD from rhehoboth beach, so you can hit up some places there at night if you want.

the baltimore aquarium and zoo are badass. maybe a little maryland/delware tour. one day in rehoboth beach, the next in baltimore. plus baltimore has the inner harbour with lots of great restaraunts and bars.

Dont come to Kempton Pa. thats for damned sure.

I second DE beaches, I was at OCMD last week and made a day trip of rhehoboth. Wonderful beach. Tons of rich pregnant chicks.

WAITTTTTTTTTT.

Rehobeth Beach is what people talk about when they talk about a "gay beach" .. they call it "re****" -- its not really a gay beach.

Lewes is a small, low key beach. They are both nice beaches, but the fun is in Ocean City, MD. Everything is within walking distance.. and if you like going out to bars, etc than they have a bus that you can take, and its $2.00 all day.

in all the years ive been going there ive seen a few openly gay couples but 95% of the people down there are families (and rich pregnant bitches). its just a nice beach. im glad there are gay people that go there, they keep the place clean and keep the **** head teens away.

Deep Creek, Maryland. That place is pretty nice and has a lot of the "beach" attractions. Camping there is always nice, and the place is much better if you have a boat.

I just got back from 4 days in Niagara Falls. If you can tolerate a touristy atmosphere, it's really nice. 6 hour drive though

They only say yee haa in the movies...and that's mostly related to the Deep South, not the Southwest.

I've sent several friends from here down there, they've stayed for a week or so, and one guy TRIED to spend $500 and COULDN'T. Lots of culture, incredible food, and no rude tourists like you see in NJ, DE, MD, etc that have overflowed out of NY and NJ.
