There was no universal 16g map on Cobbs website and I wanted a map to make sure when the turbo was installed I would be able to drive.

Cobbs site does have a map for a Forced Performance 16g, which has the same flow characteristics and are also the same size turbo. Does it sound safe to run this map until I can get a protune?

If you have the supporting mods then i would say yes. However cobb is still open now why don't you call them.

you will be fine, cobbs maps are super safe

I guess they don't have the 93 octane FG16g map up for the 05 yet.

actually no its just the 91 oct FP16g map.

Why would you want the 91 octane map when we have 93 available over here.
