Need People to help plan TST Street car challenge

Ok so as you can see there is a lot of interest in doing a shootout for the cars on TST to see which one reigns champion. Not thinking that I would get this much of a response my planning will probably be less then adequate if i dont find people who specialize in certain ****. That being said I need people to help set up one of the events

What i need people for:

Overall event planning---streeteg
(rules, scoring, dates, etc)
Photoshoot ------------CRXed
Competition Recap------Sisforsurfing
AutoX-----------------piknockout?
Road Course------------devilsz, piknockout, streeteg
Show-------------------subwrxkid, Tiny
Performance Tests-------??????
Dyno Day----------------?????
Drag Racing-------------streeteg
Prize planning-----------troll/streeteg/moderator....

---Responsibilities---

Autox-Finding a location date and time that everyone can attend that allows us to run as a group. Also if you can find out if we can have a private event that gives us the most runs for our money that would be great too

Road Course--location, date, time, private rental fees, participating in a day, etc

show- we either need someone who will not participate in the competitoon who knows how to score ****, or to find an event where we can all participate and enter in the same category.

poerformance tests----we need to find a place, whether professional or not where we can produce numbers of certain performace charageteristics...

dyno day---- need a shop thats having a dyno day, with an awd dyno to be able to help us out

Drag---easiest one. Just pick a night a track is open, preferable one where we can get as many runs in as possible

Prize planning.... I was hoping troll would give the winner a feature on the site... and maybe we can start a cash pool... or have some sort of incentive for everyone to show up....

anyway if you are on to volunteer for one of these spots to help this go smoothly let me know so we can start making everything happen.

i think for the track day, we should just rent out the track for the day. it'll be easier to do the contest and it'll just be the TSt guys chillin and hangin out.

Once a day is set up or at least a estimate someone could probably talk to phillydyno works about having the dyno portion of this take place.
Im pretty sure with setting up a day you (person dynoing there car) would have to give deposit and they would prob. wanna know about how many will be dynoing

so who can get estimates for e-town, cecil, or atco? also, maybe we should talk to troll and some of the vendors on here to possible get some trophies or a plaque for the winners. Or we can all throw in like $5-$10 to participate to get money for the trophies/plaques, just an idea.

E-Town is a pretty damn good idea if it happens - plenty of parking lot room to set up an auto-X course, strip is right there... Plus the staging areas have a ton of room if you want to set up some kind of massive photoshoot before the runs start up

Or we can also use the street circuit (if they ever finish it! I've been waiting since '03 when I first heard about it...).

Keep in mind, if this turns out very well, this event will be featured on 0-60 mags website and possibly make it into the magazine itself. All those building a car for this event should contact me with your information so I can keep track of your build progress and arrange for photo documentation.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure E-town doesn't do rentals. I know atco is always have rental days, but it's just for 15 cars and costs $150 per car for good track prep.

They also do events so you might want to give them a call.

I'll sign up for the N/A class ;) j/k I'm slow

For prizes, i'm pretty sure local companies would be happy to donate some of their stuff for recognition. Just a thought. Instead of everyone putting in their own cash.

It should be ready in 07 - they built the burms that the insurace and township demanded and now its hopefully gonna be a reality.

Most of the corners are monza turns (banked)
