I downloaded the demo for BF2 and I just wanted to say that this game is so f*cking addictive. I love the commander feature. Yesterday I was playing Oman (the only map in demo version) and I was commander. About 6 enemy tried to get into position on a roof overlooking the eastern most objective. I pwned them by myself using the satellite and artillery strikes. Even though I was below them on the ground, I could use the satellite to see where they were at all times. Then after 3 more enemy helcoptered onto the roof, I alerted the rest of my team with a UAV.

OMFG. What a great game. It can be slow at times, but when it gets good...it gets good. It's just as good as UT2k4.

What a terrible thread. I'm going to go play some more BF2.

PC or 360?

and yes the game kicks ass. ive been playing BF2 for the PC for a few months month or so and im completely addicted. everytime i get a new weapon unlock and stuck playing for hours apon hours trying to get the next one.

^ PC. I have to download a warez of the full version b/c the demo doesnt have weapons unlocks like the full version. But, I need a bigger hard drive...

ouch. the games well worth it. the expansion packs are great too.

I have both BF2 and BF2142. I just never have enough time to play them anymore. But they are great games. Now for some reason I wanna play some BF2.

yea i got BF2142 first, then BF2. so now everyones on BF2142 and im back on BF2. we need to start a BF2 gaming night. i know alachua plays 2142

BF2 is the only game im having issues with on vista..well the patch im having issues with. but its a kick ass game

I am back with BF2 again, I took a long break but I am playing again. Problem is I am playing launch date version because the 1.41 patch is so big and I don't feel like downloading it.

The patch I am talking about is half a gig, I need to update from BF2 launch day version, I am like version 1.1

i know the patch your talking about. it took me 4 hours to download from the EA site but took me 5-10 mins to DL from the EA link downloader when i installed the armored fury, special ops, and european expansion packs.

ive been playing bf2 since it came out. Im a 2nd Lieutenant! I bought 2142, it was quite disappointing. They could have done so much more with it.
