I didn't post this in ask the law because anyone can really answer it and I don't think we have a regular posting there anymore.

I go to Temple and I brought my car on sunday so I could drive home for summer on Tuesday. I found a spot infront of the 1940 dorm building, on Broad st. Today I was walking to the gym and saw a ticket saying that I was illegally parked because it was posted that I couldnt park between 4pm-6:30. There are no signs anywhere in the area I parked in that state this violation. Its a $41 fine that I don't agree with but I don't want to go to a hearing without a shot. So is it illegal to park on Broad from 4-6 even if its not posted?

The last thing is that the fine is for "stopping prohibited" which is a $41 fine. I was clearly parked there and not just stopping which would be "parking prohibited" a $31 fine. Thanks

The right lanes of broad street all have posted times when you can park there.

Honestly, the PPA is redic to work with, trust me I deal with them daily. Pay the $41, have a good day.

Damn. Your right though. I'd lose more money not working and spending a day in court than If I paid the $41. Just sucks to lose either way I go.

Yea, happened to me around 1300 my freshman year. Deal with it. I even argued with the cop (not PPA, a cop) as he was directing our traffic by the SAC. Twas quite a fun time..

It's 2 hour parking on broad street. They seriously go up and down the streets. I had a cop waiting at my car the one time cause i just got back from my hour and 50 minute class. Needless to say he was pist i got back in time.
