Wow...my work is nuts
About 45 minutes later, the US Marshall is at the door. So my boss and the General Manager go and talk to him in the conference room. Then an officer comes to the front door, a little after the first guy gets here, wearing a bullet proof vest. Now, I dont know if that is a precaution they always take, but I was scared. They figure out who the guy is and wait till he goes on break to do anything. My boss found him in the lunch room and called him over saying he needed to talk to him. The guy gets freaked out and walks off saying he needs to make a phone call and books down the steps. Only to find a few officers the sheriff and the US Marshall. There were 4 police cars and the Marshall's car outside waiting for him. This guy hasnt worked for the company for more than a week! Turns out they raided his house, which is in Jersey, and found the paper from the urine test that we require. On there it had the contact name and info, so thats how they got a hold of us. And they arrested his mom for harboring him. I dont know what kind of **** he was into, but Im sure it was big. And this isnt the only crazy thing to happen here. I have sooooo many stories.

^bahahahahah!!
There is also this other guy that has been working here for over 10 years. He is a serious crack-head. He goes through binges where he will just disappear for days, usually with a company vehicle. I work for a vending company. One time he stole a truck, stole keys to bill changers at a hospital and ripped off the machine several thousand dollars. We didnt see him for over a month after that. And that wasnt the first time he did it and wont be the last. When you ask them why they keep him, they say they have 'too much time/money invested in him'

Since I've been on raids to arrest fugitives and have some experience with it, I'll tell you that it's not necessarily as high profile as it seems. If someone skips out on court and has a bench warrant issued for them, there will either be agents from the bond company looking for them, the local PD, or federal marshals. The agents that work for my dad often get assistance from marshals. What you witnessed is pretty common-practice, including the vest. Even if it was a 25-50K bail for drugs, he's still a fugitive.
