Black 06 WRX Sedan on Rt. 73

Who was it that did rice flyby going down Route 73 S by the AMC Marlton 8.
yesterday Sunday afternoon

I was the 2 door red GC8 with the cf hood in the right lane.

My girl was driving when you took off at the light. She stomped on it caught up and blew by ya. Under the speed limit of course

Anyways could you please throw some revs at the light next time you want to run. You then creeped on us and then stomped on it. We thought you were gonna roll your window down to talk or give a horn honk .. motion to go or something would have been nice.

Ahh JDM power is nice though... at the light.. we were about 8-10 car lengths before she got in the zone and caught up. You didn't launch that hard though I was kinda curious how the ride would have done if we launched at the light.

Anyways just wondering why the ricer flyby afterwards?

Did he have black rota rims? If so I had the kid try the same thing on me before, but I was ready for him and gave him an earful with the external wastegate!!

HAha, some people just dont know how to race. I think its dumb when people dont even look at you or creep up a little bit to engage a race and then they floor it. Anyways nice kill. GC FTW!

Hmm black rims..maybe. I will ask my girl when I get home tonight.

I did remember the brembo brakes though. 06 black. I remember telling her don't launch it if he doesn't rev and she didn't she leisurely left the light then when i saw him leave the light i told her to reel him in.

I mean no big deal it isn't an ego thing or whatever but I wasn't feeling the ricer flyby at all afterwards. I was all nice and gave a peace sign when we rolled on it all in good fun. But I expected more from scoob wrx owner when they pulled that typical honduh ricer flyby junk. A letdown.. seriously. I guess scoobs are just getting more common that the owners aren't cool enthusiasts.

He did not so bad of the line though cause of the 2.5 L. My girl had to go WOT to catch up since he semi-launched it. Considering this GC8 is at least 12 flat car the way it is now it was still fun seeing how it compared to how it does compared to the newer models that are stock or lightly modded. So now i know the difference in car lengths between the models and mods. About 10 car lengths. He didn't have an upgraded exhaust so I doubt he had major work done.

The brembos threw me off though can wrx owners get those as options maybe it was a STI. He had HIDs. No big wing on the back and I do not think it was a limited. I do not remember seeing the STi emblem either.

I must say that I am just exploring the car's capability now since it is the suspension stuff got worked out and having a 8250 redline is very fun but I noticed that after 7500 with the turbo that is on it.. it performs better when you shift.

Just curious what do the 06 wrx'es and sti's run stock in the 1/4 mile?

Yea right... coupes and sedans galore. I am always researching JDM and euro models since I did the conversion. I guess my brain is stuck in GC8 mode.

Be cool if they made the new ones in coupes though eh?

As far as mods go I need to update my garage profile on here better.

Heh...I was asking if you had a wagon, someone questioned the necessity to specify that your opponent was a sedan, and I was being a smartass as usual.

Ralph's trying hard to verify his self-appointed "fastest GC8 on TST" title.
