its no STi, i know, but its Tweets WRX!

here is the full story, i know there are some people that knew the car from the begining, but for those that didnt here goes...

I purchased the car in the summer of 2004, waited 3 months for white...i would have no other color, i was tired of seeing blue everywhere and they didnt make sedona red anymore so white it was. at the time i had just graduated college and was waiting tables to pay the bills, so between car payments and insurence a sti was out of the question...before i even got the car, i had a chargespeed ver 2 kit painted already, eibach springs, turboxs bov, and some other odds and ends...with a set of 5zigen pro racer gn+ in the mail...this picture was taken about two days after i got the car...springs installed and wheels, turbo badge, bov

now keep in mind i came from a vw gti, and a acura integra, so this was my first "real" car, and soon the rice inside me came out, a VIS carbon fiber hood and trunk made its way on with some other little things, at this point the car was vandilized being keyed on both sides and fog lights stolen...u can see in the pics

after this the rice really began to come out, i just couldnt keep it in anymore i added a sti scoop and sti wing in aspen white

helix up pipe and down pipe and hks carbon ti were added with some autometer guages...wrx painted side skirts, oem jdm lip, pink I...new radio and screen...

...

it just keep flowing, i began to make some more money and more money meant more mods...a sti interior with bride front seats, stock sti wing and trunk and sti carpet and such...also after i rocked the sti trunk for a bit, decided it was just to much and decided to go WINGLESS...and also picked up a new set of OZ supperleggeras...a set of wheels that i had always wanted...

sad to say at this point the chargespeed kit was sitting in my basement collecting dust...so i decided to sell it for 600$ what a kick in the nuts...but it was to help out another member on here...so it was cool...this is the point of my car where i really began to read and mature...you can see from here on out it was all about as clean as i could make it...i wanted to keep it simple...i knew i needed a rear lip and at this time there was none for our car, so i fit a 02 rear bumper onto my car just to run the rear OEM lip and it came out great...along with a set of oem strakes

i then got a apr carbon fiber splitter to add more rice the the front end, i kinda liked this look, but it got old...this is where a HUGE change took place, i had done my research and decided i wanted to go with a reverse manfiold...so that was completed and tuned by agile automotive in maryland, i also recieved a sponsor ship from stance coilovers and deatschwerks injectors...and finally got rid of that nasty cf hood and went with a RS hood like i said before this is where i went from rice to nice, i guess we all go through those stages and as we learn more we make smarted decisions...

i knew with all the mods to come defis where the only things i would trust in my car...along with a deadbolt 16g and walbro pump. perrin fmic, intake, and inlet, cobb accessport, perrin fuel rails, etc...with all that power came oem 4 pots to stop it and the front end was changed to something a bit cleaner and the car was resprayed by ultimate collisoin in peekskill NY...this is the point where i decided i was goin to try and make the car as OEM as possible, i will say there is no fit and finish like OEM,...

began to get tired of seeing gold wheels everywhere so decided to paint them in a time attack scheme also done by ultimate collision...

was trying to make this a fun weekend car to drive but also a show car...this is where i got a new job making some decent money, so it was either trade the car in now and get a sti or keep the car and keep going with the mods...well i decided to keep the car..it had come to far now to turn back...

so out with the sti interior and in with the sparco evo, sparco belts, sparco knob,...

after about a year at that job, something popped up and i was in the right place at the right time and recieved another job making more money...so i decided i was tired of babyin the car around all the time and wanted to put some power to the ground but was scurd of blowing the tranny, so decided to do a full 6spd swap...

i decided i wanted to go for a clean "race look" and since i had sold the sti interior i had nothing in the rear and no door cards...so i picked up a set of 04 wrx door cards and carpet...and started a rear seat project that i am still working on...and wanted to add a roll bar with harness bar...

since this has been a bigger project then i expected, i put it on hold and decided to put up a 04 rear seat for the time being to match the rest of the black interior..

decided the wheels just werent gona cut it anymore, the wheels have always been a weak point in my car so i decided on some work meister s1 3pc...had them taken apart and refinished and custom painted satin grey metallic...got some dangun mirrors from japanparts and a custom rear window spoiler that i made and had painted the color of the car...

o yea, and some more paint and rock blocker this time around

just some random pics from a show with sponsor decals on it and some other decals...back to some rice for a weekend
