I'm hosting a waffles and martini party for my gf- i'm curious if anyone has some rocking martini recipes, since i'm a noob when it comes to fancy drinks.

I'm making:
expresso martini
key lime martini
straight up martini and dirty
orange creme martini
appletini

The pre-packaged appletinis that you buy at the liquor stores kick ass. It comes with Pucker and Vox Vodka, and they kick my ass. 5 of them is like drinking 2 cases of miller lite. Each glass if half vodka, half pucker.

I can't be much more of a help other than that...and they kick ass while tasting good.

people seem to love chocolate martinis. Im not much of a martini drinker myself though. I dont remember the recipe off the top of my head but i can get it for you if you'd like

Chocolate covered cherry: (from the bar I work at part-time)

Make some chocolate covered cherries (use chilled jarred cherries and magic shell).

Then take a frosted martini glass and drizzle the inside with "magic shell". Magic shell is a chocolate that hardens when cold, so it stays nice inside the frosted glass.

Mix equal parts irish creme, godiva chocolate liqueor, absolute vanilla and amaretto over ice. Stir. Strain into glass and put cherry on the rim.

Watch the panties drop ;)

Oooh I got one. Vodka and caprisun. it's clear and oooooh so many different flavors. My favorite is the sour apple caprisun. it has these little straws with sour dust inside. you mix the vodka of choice with the apple caprisun then either put the sour straw in it or shake the sour out and put it on the edge of the glass. My own personal invention enjoy!
