Cops with nothing better to do

I got pulled over by 3, yes!, 3 cops today. I was pulled over because half of Garden State on my license plate wasn't visible due to my cover thing on there. So while I sat there with 3 cop cars, I counted 5 cars speeding by me. Speed limit is 25 and I would say they were doing about 40+. Well thats the big event in my hick town. Oh forgot, I did get the ticket for unclear plates. No, the cars speeding by were not pulled over.

My plate is mounted weird as hell because I now have a JDM bumper with the JDM beam.... So there are no mounting holes for US plates. It is kind of tucked underneath.

However, just last night I had my keys locked in my car and a cop helped me get them out and he saw my plate BLATANTLY and said nothing. So, you just got shafted...

I wouldn't about the ticket if it blocked NEW JERSEY, or the actual numbers and letters on my plate. All it partically blocked was Garden State. Its the damn states nick name what is the big deal?

Pretty much. That sucks though I hate it when it takes so many cops for 1 little violation. And for other people to be doing something else thats against the law sucks even more. How much was the ticket if you dont mind me asking?

No idea what it will cost. She told me to go to the link on the back of the ticket but that link isn't letting me look up my ticket yet.

I got pulled over on 1 SB last night in west windsor going to dinner with my GF. my passenger side HID is out, so I am driving with my highbeams on. My highs and lows are tied in together, so I had the highs and lows on drivers side and just highs on passenger side. I was driving the limit once I saw the cop cause I didn't want to get pulled over. As I pull into PF Changs where we were getting dinner the cop throws his lights on and pulls me over. He stopped me cause it seemed like I was driving to cautiously. I explained to him that I didn't want to get pulled over for the light out. He asks for license and registration and insurance. And basically is ready to tell me to have a nice night. Another cop car pulls over as well and the officer started to make a big deal about the blue light inside my passenger side low beam. It was my city light. I explained the only reason it is visible is cause the low beam is out. And the 1st officer hands me my stuff back and tells me to have a nice night. 2 Cars to pull me over cause of headlight out.

yea one time i got pulled over in a neiborhood at 5 in the afternoon on a sunday for rolling through a right turn, mind you the street turns right, theres no street to the the left and straigh ahead is a elementary school thats abandoned for the weekend, and a cop just happened to be goin the other way, pulled me over, and i was soon joined by an additional 4 cops!!
5 cops for a $106 disobeying signs ticket!!
they wasted more gas driving there, then sitting there idling and chatting in their tahoe trucks than they got from my ticket.

Northampton cops FTMFL!!!

How many times have you been on probation to refer to it as "proby". LoL.

My best cop one was when I was like 11 years old...we were playing street-hockey in a CLEARED out section of my street. The cops drove by (just patrolling) and then stopped, backed up (to enter the street) came down the street with the lights on.

We thought it was a regular "car" call (who remembers yelling "CCAAAARRRR" when playing in the street?) so we move the net and get SCREAMED at through a speaker (yelling + speaker = WTFAREYOUSAYINGSKIDROW) not to touch the net.

Three cops came...padded us ALL DOWN and took the net apart looking for "stolen merchandise."

From where? I have no clue.

Why? Not a clue either.

WTF!? Exactly.

Its late, I'm bored and you guys sound like a bunch of whiny children.

The extra cars aren't there because there is nothing else to do or they want bust your stones for no reason.
***News Flash***

Crazy people shoot cops when they are pulled over! It's the most dangerous aspect of being a police officer.
While you may or may not be that person, they don't know that.
If an extra car is a mile away and not on a call, they will back each other up.

Stop your juvenile complaining and just thank them for doing a job few people want to do.

Well in my case why would the extra cop pull up after I already handed over my L, Reg, and insurance? I would of been set if I shot her. She had no back up. But hey she needed all the back up she could get to be able to read garden state. That there requires an edamucation.

They usually only call in for 1 backup unit... sometimes 2 cars will come so a total of 3. Ive never heard of anything more except on TV but that is in more dangerous situations.

I wonder how many of these guys have ever been in a dangerous situation where they would have liked a little backup for peace of mind?

Try flying into the pit by yourself to break up a fight at a Slipknot concert. Sure, the kids all complain when 10 guys storm the floor, but I wouldn't want to be in there myself if something broke out.
