Its 5* here right now. Real feel is -12*. I'm in my dorm room about to go to bed. I'm pretty cold. Old dorm housing + boiler = not enough heat for entire building. Living on the 3rd (Top) floor doesn't help either.

Our entire building is cinderblocks and bricks... Tile floors... Not only that, we have < 8" of snow here and its been cold for the past few days.

hahaha, after fifteen minutes of getting warmed up. My start-up piston slap/whatever it is sucks big time. Shifting into 2nd when the trans is cold also is miserable.

But seriously, walking to class at 7:30 this morning froze my ears. I can't imagine living any further north.

Yea, I went and had my car washed after work lastnight at like 11:30 and when I tried to drive out the tires had already frozen to the ground I litterally had to drop the clutch to pull out of the wash.

Me, my tiburon had to go back to the shop today and I hate it when people think I dont car how my car looks.

It so funny, when the car pulls into the service bays all the techs come to look at it. They all ask where I got the Tuscani package. lol

Most dorms have a flat roof to save on cost and flat roofs = no attic to store heat so the heat tranfers thru the ceiling faster, and as the heat rise thru the entire building it also decreases in temp due to being absorbed into materials. Consider that the architectual fact of the day.

All I know is that I was drunk as balls last night sitting outside of Pats Steaks in 15* eating a Whiz With. My fingers were so ****ing cold it felt like they were on fire.

It's mornings like these that I feel justified in getting the heated seats option in the GTI. On another note, the DSG transmission is a bitch when it's this cold. Jerky shifts till the damn thing warms up.
