Need your input on A/C

OK, I'm working on a project here, and I ran into two problems.

1) My stock A/C pump doesn't fit anymore.

2) The other A/C pump I have fits the motor, but the lines on the car don't fit.

Now, Ralph says he's got a bracket to fit my A/C pump to the motor, but I'm not sure it will work.

There's only one line that doesn't fit the new pump, and I'm not sure how much it'd cost, but at this time, I'm not really interested in spending money that isn't necessary to spend, since I don't really have any to spend to begin with.

Then, there's the obvious option of pulling everything A/C related out of the car. Now I know this seems a bit crazy, but I have other cars to drive on really hot days, and it'd be pretty cool to drop some 'extra weight.' Will I regret it? If so, will I feel like putting all that crap back in? Who knows.

What would you do?

Well, I live in NJ, so there is no driving fast...you can only go as fast as the 36,000 cars in front of you.

It's not much to look at. A bunch of used parts mixed together.

I would drop the AC - Are you doing a swap? I know the AC mounting bracket doesn't fit on JDM motors so you gotta get one made or use the JDM one. I say screw AC - Just open the windows and enjoy the weather.

The block is different? Hmm...this might seal the deal for the A/C.
