I was never there but I say we are outgrowing applebees quite quickly and if they are all about having us then I say hell yea lets go for it...

Hopefully Chad can chime in with the "offers". I talked to the guy last week and he gave us 2 pitchers of Miller Light for free. I also think he was going to keep doing it (but not certain). Prices on beer are certainly cheaper than Applebees. Food? don't know.

Well this sounds good but on the downside, applebees allowed the non 21 to come hang out for a bit before the adults went out to play. This may/will decreae the amount of people at the meet. Also this is moving the meet further from the Bethlehem people? Just some thoughts?

Legends is right across from dorney park. And right off the halmiton street exit. It is not to far from applebees. As far as the under 21 there is nothing I can do about that. I can ask if people under 21 are allowed in there till a certain time but I have a feeling it will be no. I will talk to Johny tonight if I get out of work before 11.

I think its a cool place, but the under 21 people are screwed. On the other hand we have deffinitly outgrew applebees.
The drive dosent matter much to me sicne I already have a 30 min ride. I'm on the fence even with the discount.

I will say the crowd is much better at Legends. I agree with everyone else and believe we have outgrown applebees....

I wasn't all that impressed to be honest, I do think we are outgrowing Applebee's but the prices for food were more (especially when you figure we get the apps half price at Applebees) and plus free pitchers of light beer really doesn't do it for me (very nice of him to give it to us though). Add in that the people under 21 are excluded and the police around there suck and it makes me think we could come up with a better spot then that.
Maybe we could find a place like sunset (parking lot is kind of small there for the number of people we get) where we could get tables in a dining area and that way the under 21 crowd could join.

I know I've never been to any of these meets and I have no idea where anyone is coming from, but being that there were some bethlehem people mentioned why not go to Starters on 378. They have booths and tables right next to the bar so everyone could be there. Also I know the meets are on tuesdays but Wednesday's special is cheesesteak night, and there's plenty of tv's to watch whatever sports events are going on.

I am open to any suggestions BUT remember

Meet must have enough room in parking lot for 10+ cars to park together
Meet must have enough room inside for 15-20 people
Meet must be very close to a major highway

As long as we can find something like this not far from Allentown, I will try it.

I think the meet is pretty big, I mean i've only been to two of them but it grew from the first time I was there... and I'm not 21 and neither is my friend that tags along soooooo.. I say we try to at least find some place that allows people under 21 to go to or a place with tables to sit, because if not Wee Beasty may start biting people.

It doesnt really matter to me, as long as theres good food. I like applebees for now, but it seems like its getting way too packed if there are other ppl besides us there.

Can i do a "write in" for the Grandview? They let ppl under 21 there. Lol.

haha yes! I bet they even have one of those little kids Tiburon rides that you put the tokens in and you can drive it. It'll be just like real life!
