Boo our fans for doing that to Garcia when he was down. You know what, I like him. I like AJ too. But he showed some guts tonight, and its been a while since an Eagles QB has done that.

He actually looked a lot like Donovan (who also met some boos in his early career). He was mobile, had good vision downfield, and was able to sense the D-line closing in. I was impressed and if he continues this kind of play, I wouldnt be suprised if you hear people lobying for him to start next season.

What I didnt like:
1. Westbrook and the RBs do too much studder stepping. Either take it to the outside, or take it up the middle. Quit waiting for a hole to open up because 9/10 it wont.
2. The Defense got zero pressure on the QB. Delhome was hurried like 3 times all game. It was pathetic.
3. Special Teams coverage blew.
4. The defense was unable to hold up in the final minutes. If not for a miracle grab by Lito, it would have been another last second loss.

Yea, it seems like there are still many holes.

BTW, Omar Gaither FTW. Matt McCoy might as well be released. And we STILL need to find out who that other linebacker is..I haven't heard a name past McCoy/Trotter/Gaither in about 2 seasons.

Agreed. As long as Gaither keeps his head screwed on right, I'd keep him there and ditch Matt McCoy's skinny ass. Did anyone else think Sean Considine looked like crap today too? The only time I saw him was when he was sprawling out of nowhere attempting to make tackles on D'Angelo Williams. I'm not sure he actually completed a tackle all night!

He had one on special teams. He's just too small. I mean Michael Lewis can hit (and his pseudo linebacker role is really useful)..but he can't cover for his life. Considine can tackle (notice not "hit"), but hes so small..its like a Tim Hauck.

eagles could wanna tackle better too. there was a lot of times where tackling was poor and unnecessary yardage was gained. oh well it was a win and hopefully we can keep it going.

im suprised jeff garcia is not a starter on some other team, hes realy effing good, and hes known for his TD passes. its unbelieveable to think that hes a second string, if i were the broncos i would pick him up. plummer sucks.

The defense played well tonight compared to the last few games. I would have to say that the run defense was much better too. The defense got pressure on him when it mattered the most, otherwise we wouldn't of gotten a couple of the INT Jake threw. I don't see how you think that Westbrook and Buckhalter can't wait for a hole 9/10 times. That is the point of a run play, for a hole to open up when you run. You want them to run into a freakin pile of linemen. They aren't straight downhill runners if you haven't noticed. You can't exactly run to the outside in this league much anymore since the defenses they seem to play are a lot more mobile now. They have to move around to wait for a hole to open up. If there isn't a hole either they gotta make something happen on their own.

I hope the bandwagon people don't start coming on the wagon now haha.

Ugg. I'm still hurting from the game last night. We had tix 5 rows up from the 10 yard line right where the ball was intercepted at the last minute. Good game, very glad I stayed till the bitter end.

Had the whole aisle to ourselves in the 4th too.

While it was a win, I can't help but be hesitant about the rest of the year.
Carolina is just not a good enough team to get all rev'd up about beating.
Happed all to often , I get pumped and then I'm devastated.

But I'm still a fan.

Make something happen on their own is exactly what I want them to do. When the initial play fails, its time to look for soemthing else... anything. I'm just tired of seeing Westbrook with a hand on a lineman's back, moving at .25 mph for a 1.5 yard gain. It just isn't working. If a true downhill runner is what we need, then it's time to draft one.

As for the defense, yeah, the run defense was acceptable. But they were playing against a rookie RB, not exactly something to write home about. My biggest concern is the incredible amount of missed tackles. Andy Reid must be out of his mind believing that his guys are big enough and talented enough to get the job done week in and week out. Delhome's first INT was a terrible pass and the second one was an overthrown ball that he was trying to force in there.
