Omni GLHS Shelby

Just saw this at a local garage/small time dealer. It was a 1986 Omni GLHS Shelby, absolutely pristine, the interior of the car was in better shape than mine and not a scratch (literally) on the paint.

I didn't see the window sticker and then I saw it fell down on the back seat - the chassis had 53,000 miles on it Seriously, someone should pick this up although I couldn't see them letting it go for cheap - the car was 1 of 500 and it is in absolutely pristine shape. If you want the address of the place I can give it to you, I would just love to see someone own this and put it to proper use - everytime I drive buy I want to test drive it but I don't have the time (don't know if they would let me either).

I do agree that the price is a wee bit steep. The seller probably is going to get all they can for it since it is a rare car and they aren't getting any younger also. Dodge used to rally these back in the day and did pretty well with them. It was kinda the dominant car for the time as in how Subies and Evos are these days.

Yeah - I had no idea what he was asking for it as price wasn't on the car - then I looked at their business card they gave me and found it. If it was a good bit cheaper, then it would be a good pickup. But over 7k? I paid 6k for my RS...

Ohh, fiberides. My friend used to have a red CSX-VNT with the gold wheels. Hotness, long before any JDM horse-****.

For 7 grand, you could almost build a pretty fast first gen Neon.
