Interest in a TST Junkyard day?

Check it out

http://www.joesusedautoparts.com/Prices.html

Let me know if you guys are interested. About 5 acres of cars/trucks/domestic/foreign/busses/jeeps/muscle/bikes/tractors/vans/

Everything!

Even if you dont have a older car you never know what you'll find. I got a oil cooled Garrett T4 WITH 26K on it for $30. Didnt even need cleaning up, shaft spins freely, and it came with the manifold and downpipe.

That combined with a Volvo 720 FMIC that I got for $20 is my inspiration to eventually find myself a clean little 240sx

Even if you dont find a turbo you can make a sweet coffee table like me.

1983 Celica Supra hood with four table legs attached, makes for really puxxled faces when people used to walk into my house. Total cost was $28!

You may just find gold too!

Anyone wanna go? Its only $3 tp get in, theres no high schoolers, and it actually shows a love of cars when you play "Guess that car"

Anyone down?

I know my Sandy is, I need to help her find some jeep parts

Sounds interesting and I could possibly be down for this. Let me know when this will go on. Sounds like fun even if I don't buy anything.

If enough ppl are interested i could probably get a TST u pull it day down at shorty's outside of KOP. My buddy is shorty's nephew and runs everything down there. Given enough notice i can tell him to put some cars aside and set up a day (most likely a saturday) and everyone can go down.

problem with shortys is that they seem to think that their used parts are worth as much or more then brand new ones.

Like that charcoal canister?

I've been down to shorties and there really wasn't anything interesting - just a lot of old domestic cars which really aren't treasure troves of any kind. The only cars there which were worth looking at at all were an MR2 which I couldn't get the engine bay open (yes I was looking in the right place ) and a non-turbo DSM which was basically stripped already.
