ive been registered for a while never introuduced myself. figured id say whats up. i dont drive yet still got about 2 months untill i can get my permet. as soon as i get that im picking up an 87 fiero gt. i have alot planned for it but the first is hand controls.

well i use a wheelchair. i got weak muscles in my legs i wouldnt be able to control the gas/brake quick enough. the reason i got my heart set on a fiero is there just amazing cars. there light,quick, and have a nice body style. i plan on eaither doing one of three swaps. a 4.9 northstar cad. motor, a 3800 s/c, or a 3.8 turbo outta a t type or a gn.

That's cool man. I don't have any excperience with them myself but if you let me know what kind of information you need I have a friend with an aunt that uses them maybe I can find some things out.

i <3 fieros...my lil bro used to have an 85 w/ ferrari kit...

best bang and power for the buck is the 3800s/c motor, followed by the cadillac 4.9, and if you have the money, the Northstar motor. The GN motor won't work, and there is only like 1 actual person who made it work and it still has problems.

Quad 4 motors are sweet too. Get a cheeeeep $500 3800 supercharged series II motor & trans, go through 'em and get the parts to swap it. I've driven one, they're very very quick and will beat up most 4 & 6 cyls....even some 8's!

wut he said, get the SC and change out the pulley and some minor other things and with a good tune that car will be all over the place.

lol racing is bad but it can also be fun. ive been around modified cars all my life. my first choice is the 4.9 northstar but due to funds its most likley going to be the 3800sc. my goal for this car is between 400-500hp to the wheels. if it would fit it would be the 396 375hp motor thats in peices in my shed.
