I work at the princeton NJ store. we need a few part time techs and maybe 1 full time.

DO NOT bother IF
You cant pass a drug test. that means if u smoked this month dont apply.
you have no experence

In-store PC Techs and the actual guys who go out and do Home Installs are two different pay grades. The In-store guys get paid hourly and the In-home guys are paid salary. At least, that's how it works with FireDog (Circuit City). We also charge $60 for a diagnostic which tells you any and everything wrong with your PC (this includes hardware/software/malware)

And all of us (FireDog) are now required to be MCP certified.

Actually, I just applied at the Mt. Laurel location for part time since I was bored during the week since I worh Fri-Sunday at my regular job.
The guy didn't even have me in for an interview and was like all over me...he asked if I thought I was a little over qualified for the position lol....
Anyway, I would say good background to have would be at least your A+ certification.
