Comcast Internet Service?

Is anyone else's comcast service sucking lately? I've had far too many links I've clicked that just went to no where, then hit refresh and it works. I'd say about 1 out of maybe 6 or 7 clicks doesn't work the first time. Just see if I'm the only one or not.

If it works better I would get DSL, I want more upstream bandwidth (which DSL has) and I never use anywhere near my down stream bandwidth. But it's a moot point as they offer FIOS.

Yes, don't know how often as I don't watch much TV. I think they're starting to run out of bandwidth.

dunno.......... im pissed its down.

comcast is nothing but ****. my tv freezes all the time, the audio is always messed up and my internet works whenever it feels like it. I pay too much money for this **** to be happening. the tech service is equally as pathetic as they only tell you to do one thing, unplug your modem or cable box. then they schedule a tech to come out and he is 4 hours late if he even ends up comming at all.

seriously, **** comcast.

My buddy who works at comcast i had questioned about this. Its all due to them putting in all new cable lines in the entire area.

So should it stop when they're done putting in lines?

hahaha...we'd actually have Verizon if it was available in our area...my neighborhood still only has 28.8ghey so Comcast is our only option....I'd rather pay $15/month for a little bit slower service than $50, but thats me

I would rather cut off my arm then get Comcast internet again. When I was in school in Pittsburgh it would drop out EVERY night and several times a day. When it did work, it was complete garbage. As for the cable, don't even get me started. The first cable box they gave me started failing (the screen would just start going all fuzzy and the sound would cut out) about 1 month after install. After PAYING the D-Bags to come out and change THEIR failing box they installed a new one...guess what 1 week later it dies. I asked the repair guy why the F*&K all their boxes keep dying...he told me that they never fix them, all they do is take the bad ones and give them to someone else.
Long story short...if your TV is F*****-up try getting a "new" cable box. Those things are total junk and very frequently fail...freezing pictures and sound cutting out is a sign of the box going off the deep end.

BTW I have DSL and it has not once cut out over the last 6 years...will be moving to Dish Network ASAP

what do you mean 'cable box'...who uses a cable box anymore? Almost every tv is cable-ready these days.

Unless you mean the box outside my house...

Oh it's ripping fast down, I'm getting 9 megabits a second down, but still only 384kbits up. Tell your friend the 5 down is fine, give us more up. And I'm thinking the hesitation might be a DNS problem, but I'm sure.

To be fair to comcast, I can count the number of outages I've had in the year and a half of service on one hand.
