I picked up my Michelin XL 11.00x16's for my Jeep project. These things have some serious tread and they are heavy as $h!t. I cant wait to get some wheels made and get them on the chassis.

hey! were you driving with the jeep today? with the new tires? I think I saw you on the bypass going towards Richboro

No, it wasn't me. The Jeep won't be road-worthy for a long time

Service Tire finally broke down one of the military split rims for me only to find that these things have an inner solid rubber run flat device, tipping the scales at ~125lbs. They weren't quite sure how to remove it so I had to use my backyard engineering skills.

Almost like the tire was built around this thing...

thhhhuuunk! out it came. I have no clue how they ever got this thing in there. 1 down, 4 more to go.

Also, I finally got some solid floor and rocker panels welded into the Jeep cab
