can i cop stop u like a day or week after u commited the offense?

ok heres my story....im just gettin off coming from work...i see a cop on the other side of road....im thinkin great he might turn around n pull me over for not havin a front plate....he passes by nothing yet....like 25 feet later i see him flash his lights n turn right around....im like im ****ed...not even i didnt have a plate i would of got a ticket for failiure to exhibit d.l & probably insurance card since i just got my car out the shop...he keeps coming....im at a red light....the light turns green...like a dick i start runnin......and luckily all the red lights turn green so i got a good thing... and for some reason some car cuts the cop off....so the cop just stopped and turned his lights off and turned back around....i get in the house...i see my tail lights are out...im like no wonder why he tried to pull me over....yeah thats my story but my question is say if that cop was to recognize my car like a couple days later....can he pull me over for what happend tonight?

I would get my car fixed and have all my proper paper work in hand if I were you before heading back out on to the road... unless you live in a very small town or your car is very unique there is no way the cop will remember you...
