pirates of the caribbean had the biggest opening ever.It beat spiderman.Ended up doing $132 million.

biggest opener in its first day also, grossing $55 mil. i have yet to see it although i heard it was good but not as good as the first.

Good flick, I got lost with the story for the most part.

I've always had a thing for Keira since I was young, after I saw Princess of Thieves I was like wow she's amazing. I actually got to speak with her a couple of times before she got really big. I wonder if she still remembers me.....

I thought it was good. Tooka little bit to get teh movie rolling but once it did I was laughing my azz off. The movie was held up start to finish by Depp.

I don't get why so many people were confused by the storyline though...I thought it was simple enough. My gf got lost too, but then she hadn't seen the first one and was there only for Depp and Keira at first.

Ummm, it's like the star wars trilogy.

You got the first movie which tests whether or not the market will bear the others. (A New Hope)

the second movie is the "everything that can go wrong does" movie - which sets upt the third movie in the trilogy (Empire Strikes Back)

the third movie is the finale (Return of the Jedi). Everything comes in threes nowadays.

what really pisses me off...is when they did that w/ Halo...wtf..its a goddamn game...w/ the final game years off...at least, as I hear, Pirates 3 will be released in the winter.
