tire ???

since my tire has a bubble in it and my rim is now bent, i am just gonna break down and buy a set of rims and tires. I have decided on Rota Slipstreams I am gonna stick with a 16" rim. the rim is 16x7. am i able to fit a 225/45/r16 on that rim with a 40 offset, or should i stick w/ the 215/50 that i have on my stock wheels

the 225's will be fine, but you do know you can still go bigger. Like up to 8" rims with 235's, but you'll have to roll the fenders becuase your car is lowered.

my friend goes to school w/ a kid that has a 93 rx7, he is willing to let his stock wheels w/ brand new tires go for 300. the wheels are painted black....good deal??? these won't stick out will they?

You will need a spacer to get it to work due to the offset being 50mm also you can only fit 225's

I'm not sure what size spacer you will need but the FD Rx7 have a 50mm offset

the kid had a twin turbo ...i think it was a 94....but i bought the wheels and tires....300$$$, wheels look great, but are begging to be powdercoated black, and the tires are goodyear Eagle size 225/50 r 16, they fit on there but i have only enough room to fit my index finger between the control arm and the tire....i am gonna get 1/4 in. wheel spacers tomorrow and throw the wheels on and get some pics for you guys, they looked awesome on there though, so so wide!!!
