i used to like o&a but the couple times ive checked them out recently its just been lame.. it sounds like their free fm show is a 50/50 split commercial for xm and talking trash about howard. ..yawn..

stern > kidd chris > barsky > o&a > dog**** > matt and huggy

den9.. if you listen to top 40 crap then yes youll hear a lot of the same songs on sirius... but if you are into any musical niche whatsoever(and like an extra 20min of music each hour).. you are far better off having satelite radio. i cant say much for xm.. but when ive heard it,.. ive NEVER heard a dj on it.. sounds too canned.. like some dude loaded up a playlist on itunes and went home for the day.

just my .02

I really dig O&A. The satelite show is by far my favorite, you just can't get the same quality on FM. Though, it is nice to get more hours of show every day.

This is one of my favorite bits ever

WARNING: exceptionally NWS, very racist humor, NWS, wicked funny, NWS

http://www.zobre.org/cliff/oanda/luckystrike.mp3

That and the day they had the porno's, and dildo's out on the street, while they yelled at people from the roof with the bullhorn.

Couldnt agree more. Stern is topnotch, and Sirius will live on past XM. If you guys want the most explicit radio show ever, you need to listen to Bubba the Love Sponge on Sirius. These guys make O&A look like kindergarten teachers. If you want a sample, goto bubbaraw.com....NOT WORK SAFE. I love how XM has predicted their OWN company to lose 500,000+ customers next year alone, bwahahaha.

All of it. If you don't like OnA that's fine but there's no need to spread rumors that are totally false and made up.

Do you really think i would make a comment like that without being able to back it up?????????? You should really look into before telling somebody that they are spreading rumors and making stuff up........So here is a few DIRECTLY COPIED AND PASTED news article clips for your viewing pleasure....enjoy.

XM, which competes with Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. in the emerging business of selling nationwide radio service delivered by satellite, said it now expected to have 8. 5 million subscribers by the end of the year, down from its previous estimate of 9 million.

And........

XM has delivered other bad surprises to investors recently, including news last month that federal regulators were probing its marketing practices. The company also disclosed earlier this year that one of its directors quit over disagreements about the company’s direction and warned of a looming “crisis.”

So anyhow, there is my so-called rumors and false information. But hey, if XM is your bag and you enjoy it, great! Im just a sirius listener and was stating some facts. Bottom line, satellite radio is the ish!

Now back on topic, how about those Opie and Anthony guys.

That's not "losing 500,000" subscribers. They just lowered their estimates.

The Feds are up Sirius' ass as well and that guy that left was an ass that never agreed with anyone else and always wanted things his way. good riddance.

Sat radio is better than terrestrial radio regardless of what provider you go with.
