Lots of trouble...help.

Cruising down Rt. 1 yesterday, 65-75, boosting around 5-10psi, hear a loud popping sound under hood, followed by the puck on my internal wastegate fluttering...ok I'm thinking I popped off an intercooler hose/pipe, whatever, but no black smoke from my tailpipes...

Pull over, everything looks good, all vacuum lines are tied on the ends, intercooler pipes/hoses are tight, clamps are all good. Starts up fine, no hesistation, drives fine, but can't build boost. When I do, it starts to stumble/buck, until i let off and it's fine.

Get home fine, about 5 miles from my house, take off MAF pipe, intercooler hoses/pipes, thinking maybe the turbo was bad. Blades spin free, no contact at all, no oil in any pipes or the intercooler....now I'm like wtf...put it all back together, don't start it up until my lunch break today, sounds good, good oil pressure, coolant temp, etc...but when I started it, I noticed about 13* knock on my scanmaster, but it went away in a few seconds. My 02's aren't cycling and are staying at 941!!!! Holy ****, that's way rich...ok, car is idling at 2000rpms and stumbles if I go to drive it.

Now...if I blew a headgasket, IF, could that foul my 02 (i'm almost certain it could) and prevent any boost? Now, if I didn't, could I have a HUGE vacuum leak somewhere that would cause the knock at startup (which I'm sure is false knock) Remember, I'm throwing NO engine codes, and all vitals look good except 02's....what was that popping sound? I think I hear a slight tap on my pass side valve cover, but it doesn't sound bad and it goes away in a few seconds.....geez....someone give me advice on what they think it could be.

Did you check the wastegate actuator arm? Maybe it poped off the wastegate flapper?

Maybe the car wen't into limp mode?
