Turbonetics is notorious for not being able to ship you the right part, no matter how many times you give them the part number from their catalog, but at least they usually don't send it right the second time. As far as the kits go, I havn't heard anything bad about them. APS, on the other hand, has shown that they are not in the business of customer service, and employs a man well known for scamming a few folks in the LS1 world. Talk to AKA Rally Chris, he'll let you know how he feels about APS.

I had a turbonetics delta gate on my old setup and never had problems with it. It was well designed and help up to 90K of use and I only took it off becuase of my swap. Thats all I have ever delt with turbonetics though.

why not build your own kit? It would be cheaper and to your likings. Let me know if you want any advice in building a kit for your Z33. Im running a sale right now on garrett turbochargers that you may find appealing for your situation.

I have personally seen both ST kits in person.......and think they are both very nice.
The TN kit looks way nicer (if that matters to you) and prally has more potential for HIGH HP numbers in the long run... The APS is a very complete kit, and i havent heard anyone having major issues with it. I think that the biggest issue is WHERE & WHO install the kit. Just make sure you go to a certified installer and to someone who has done the EXACT kit on a Z before.....you dont want your car to be the "test" car... With that said, i would go to my350z.com and browse around the FI Forums...there are dozens of guys running both setups that could give you way more in depth advice on these kits. Good Luck ![]()

My goal is 400whp/350Tq, not too hard with either kit, with supporting mods and good tune. I have been leaning towards the TN seeing they are more popular on the Z33, and it is a relatively easy instal considering the turbo is in front of the engine instead of underneath. I will be doing the instal (with help from freinds.) Do you know If the bumper guard (beam) has to be removed for the FMIC. Thanks for the info on non Z cars it really helps to decide which company.
It's a Stock Touring model. Needs some go-go juice!

call the guys over at CarV2 (302)998-6988...talk with either James or Jay
they have installed a large number of turbo kits and supercharger kits on both G35s and Z33s...they are going to be the best source for info as far as any issues that may arise and how the installation is for various companies Late, Daniel
