Best areas to cruise?

I decided to just kind of get lost today and drive where ever. I started out around washingtons crossing by brownsville road and took some other heavily wooded backroads for about an hour or so. I probably only went a small distance but there are so many cool little roads back there that are just a blast to drive on, and no I don't mean hitting 90 around a turn, just driving.

So I wanted to hear if you guys knew any really nice areas that were worth driving to/on around your area?
