Ford Probe Stereo Wiring Harness

So i have a '93 Probe. I recently bought a wiring harness for my stereo but as i went to hook everything up, it doesnt fit. Realizing it didnt fit i took it back to walmart, just to see if it was put in the wrong package, but after looking at another one, it was the same thing. Ive looked on crutchfield and other sites and it seems as though there all the same as the one i already had. Has anyone even had this problem before and if so, what did you do to solve it?

i had this problem haha i think the whole problem is that the cars a mazda at heart so the company just assumes since its branded ford it has the same specs as the other cars. look at some mazda harnesses and see if they look to fit, i just decided i was happy with the stock tape player... after all i have an adaptor to use my ipod with it so it does the same job any other headunit would lol

solved this by getting a harness for 94+ vehicles. No probes were listed on the back but there were rangers and other cars with premium sound so i decided to try it out. Everything worked, got it wired up, and works fine.
