Marino's S13: RB26 Build

Okay, so I bought this last month as my first car, so far ive been trying to freshen it up a little bit and make it seem newer.

Some pictures from the listing

Random pics from when I finally got it home

New stereo

Not the best but obviously a big upgrade. I still have 3 way pioneer speakers for the door, and I might get a matching 3 way set for the rear speakers now that circuit city is dieing. Also, you can see my handmade shift boot from a bandanna. I personally love the way it looks, and cant wait to see how it looks with my shift knob, if I ever get it.

Drivers carpet cleaning
Before

After

Passenger carper cleaning
Before

After

The flash makes the stains more visible than they are. They're pretty much invisible now. Next time I take out the seats [to put something legit in hopefully] I will steam the carpet.

Seat Upgrade

No that is not a shadow on the old seat covers. I hate the factory fabric, so I upgraded to some cheapo but imo decent looking seat covers. The oem seats also had abit of tear/general wornoutness. I tried to make it look more realistic by putting the adjustment cover over the seat cover, which imo, really makes seat covers look ALOT better.

Whats coming in the mail

What Id like to get soon

-NRG detachable hub
-Viper 5901 Alarm
-Project Mu Pedals
-SR20Det - Pretty much a stock conversion with an exhaust. No serious power adders.
-PoweredByMax Coilovers - With a set of the softer springs so I don't kill my ass when im off the track.
-Pignose bumper with the "pignose" part shaved - I never saw this done, and I thought it would look better. Also with a lip.
-Mesh Wheels - There's a set I want, but I have no idea what they are, and no one else seems to know either. Ill post a pic soon.
-S13 Digital Climate Control
-Cover various interior parts with some kinda better fabric/leather.
-Broadway mirror

Much farther into the future
-S13 Front end conversion
-Tra Kyoto Rocket Bunny Over Fenders All Around
-6 Pt Roll Cage
-PoweredByMax Steering knuckle upgrade
-Adjustable seat buckets
-Vertex lip kit
-5 lug swap
-Volk, SSR, or Work Wheels

These are the wheels I currently want but I cant figure out what they are. Everyone who has them found them in the junkyard on old 240z and 240sx models.

Quote:
15x8 - alot.multi 4 lug. 4x114 and 4x100. i think maybe -48. with falken ziex %85 tread
$700

-what the seller sold the gold ones for

**** everything was deleted, so lets repeat.

New "fresh" door panel.

Put those in the door while I was there.

New Tails+Silvia trunk lock

Sleepy Eyes+H4 conversion with blue city lights (soon to be yellow)

New wheel

Newest upgrade

Before

After

Installing the DCC+my new viper alarm [NOT FUN]

Works perfectly so far.

As she sits atm.

I recently started driving it, and I absolutely love it so far. Im also pretty sure that I have a gutted cat, because it sounds and smells more epic than it should. I also have alot more goodies coming in the mail. Im gonna start with the more expensive upgrades now. After I finish my intake setup ill be saving for an apex'i N1 dual exhaust. After that ill do coilovers+wheels.

I have some more tubes that turn it into a CAI. Those are going on once I get my APEXi filter.
I also cleaned most of the engine bay with WD40 and a rag. I want to paint my valve cover now, but I need the car, and the cover will take a few days. (its not gonna be one solid color)

I wanted to attempt snow drifting today, but the amount of snow on the streets was to much. Ive never seen this much snow ever.

Snow "flake" paint.

Nismo Knockoff shift knob[Temporary]

Nismo Seatbelt pads.

NEW!!!!! Cracked Dash!
The other night I was driving home from work. I hit a pothole, and my dashlights turned off. This is normal in my car, so I started slamming the dash as usual. They didnt come back on, so I started slamming harder untill they came back. I wake up the next day to find the cracks. Now im really ****ing mad at myself, and I must rewire everything to prevent this from happening. Im not sure weather I should spend an arm and a leg to get a perfect dash, or just recover this one.

You could pick up a new one..Or if you want, Cover it with like a cloth or something...Like how you went unique with the bandana shifter...Maybe Zebra print dash? Something crazy like that. haha

Zebra print would be crazy. Ive seen it done on the door panels. I dunno if I should go that far yet on a stockish car tho, maybe in the future.

Intake is all done. Ebay pipe [which had to be cut in a few spots to fit good >] with an Apex'I filter.

JDM S13 key light with a Silvia badge key.

Results of a ten hour detail job. Wash+Swirl X+Clay bar+Wax
Im really proud of this, I can finally see my self in my paint, and there's no more cloudy spots. I need to repeat the process next time because there's still a few blemishes that are bothering me. I need to take a picture with my moms camera because mine doesn't do it justice.

I ordered an Apex'I N1 dual today as well.
