Im sure its a manual vs DSG/Auto Sequential issue too. Lambo takes a while to shift, GT-R doesn't even lift.

I dont know jack about lambos and what their transmissions are like but that was some horrible shifting. I wonder if thats required to keep from grenading the transmission.

The lambo just set the standing mile world record if I understand it correctly. The car was running notorious tho,I think.

story has it that the Lambo was indeed having gear box issues during this exibition thus explaining the ass kicking it was receiving at the hands of the GTR. when you look at the numbers....both vehicles at 1500awhp, the lambo being 600-800 lbs less, the outcome should've been a little differant if the shifting was there.

They had to stay in the higher gear or itll just spin. Thats why it looks like they are bad drivers.
