Evo 8 dyno 6766 38psi e85 767whp air-shifter in-car video

Here is a local friends Evo 8 that hit PSI PROformances dynojet a few weeks ago. The car is on a built 2.0l, pte 6766 turbo, e85 and full bolt ons. What makes this car special is the DogBoxRacing transmission and custom Air-Shifter. Here is the video of a few dyno pulls as well as a in car ride along with the air shifter in action.

On street tires, full weight (no cage), and a few psi of boost less then the video the car went 10.00@148 on a shakedown pass. We have hopes of a 9.5 pass on street tires and then the slicks will be bolted up.

Yea PeteyTurbo tuned the car at krazyHouseCustoms. The car was then dynoed at PSIPROformance after they made the custom 3.5" exhaust and a few other odds and ends.

wow talk about super fast shifting, it seems that the car is setup as a dedicated drag car!! great boost control and that trans would probably drop atleast 2 tenths from a standard trans

that power doesnt look great in the midrange but im sure it just needs a little bit of fine tuning

It's a street/strip car for sure, more on the strip side. It's not daily driver friendly but it can get you around town if needed. The owner has other cars for other specific uses.

Manual with sequential shifter with co2 behind it. The air shifter setup is insane...only the second one of it's kind.
