Anybody have a Grand National??

Have always wanted a GN but have never had access to one. Anybody have one I can poke around and go for a ride in in a reasonable distance from West Chester?

Used to own one. Going by your sig-list, you'll be pretty disappointed in performance with a stock platform GN. The handling isn't great either. They're big, fun cars to street around but require some heavy mods and cash to be formidable foes. Good luck man, they'll always have a place in my heart

it's all good man I have a disgusting car in the garage no one knows about, I'm looking for a basic turbo fuel Trans car to kick around for everyday alongside my diesel. I've always had a soft spot for them and think its about time to get the ball rolling.

Good luck finding one, that someone is willing to sell. But they are badass if done right.

My neighbor used to have a mean GN. It was soo nice, and then he took it to Home Depot one day. He came out to a small pile of shattered glass in his parking spot and no car. :.(

no I don't "just want a G body"

thank you for pointing out a two decade old car is not up to par with current automotive technology, that's not the point

your saying you want/to ride in a turbo 6cly g body with bucket seats that has been overpriced to the point of un enjoyment, dont get me wrong my neck breaks everytime i see one(know of one locally) t types are plentiful and "quicker" stock...your confusing me, do you want to just go for a ride in a stock grand national??? go for a ride in a beastly g body???feel the bucket seats(cause the bench seats are 478237981324328 times more comfy) your being very vague. stock??? well maintained???? restored???? built??? theyre are plenty of older people keeping them stock and plenty of them building them up...idk of anyone on this forum that has one. i didnt mean to suggest all g bodies are dead, Im actually a huge fan...but theyre everywhere from older and newer enthusiasts, ill ask the domestic guys i know, they should know of a handful in the area lol and honestly youll prolly get the "will he pay for gas?" or "does he want a ride? or a RIDE?"

My buddy in Coatesville has one. He did let me drive it back to his place since he had to store it at mine for a little. It's a fun car and only a couple bolt ons. Supposedly needs a tune.

I have always had an affinity for Grand Nationals. If I am not mistaken, in their day, they beat the Corvette every year they were out. It is a damn shame that a car of such notoriety was so short lived; such as the FD RX7, MKIV Supra, AE86…

Yes the 87 Buick GN was the fastest production car that year.
