So some of you may know, after sitting all last winter my miata's timing slipped a couple teeth and after it was fixed, it blew a piston ring or 2. lol I loved the car to death, but i felt it was time to grow up a little bit and get a 4 door. last November I bought a MSP and drove that around up until two days ago, when i got this beast which happens to be my 1st new car

(crappy cell pics, working on getting the good ones that were taken today.)

She's a barely used 2010 Evo GSR Graphite and I couldn't be happier.

i'm currently in West Virginia and drove 3 friends down, the car is so smooth powerful when needed, calm when i want it to be. I'm yet to go over 4k rpm and even then i wasn't anything more then maybe 20% throttle lol.

fully plan on it, I don't beat on my car. I managed 30mpg out of a boosted miata. lol I love this thing man lol

Congrats, I've never been in a stock X but my buddy had one at 430whp and it hid its weight well and i really enjoyed the overall package besides the additional power. Now the car is built motor/fp black/meth over 500whp and it moves out especially for the weight.

I wish i had the money to pick up a MR touring edition to daily drive. Heated recaro seats, quick auto shifting trans, other nice amenities at 350whp daily driven sounds like a blast to me.

thanks for the love guys lol, I'm in love with the car. its pretty much perfect. I'm having issues with the radio though so I'm going back to the dealer. cd player skips when over minor bumps, speakers cut in and out, and bluetooth only plays through one speaker

anyway here's a teaser pic from this weekend

Dealership replaced the whole headunit under warranty and it works perfect now.

Wow so I totally let this die, time for an update! lol
Wanted some new wheels so i ordered my 1st set of Brand new wheels, I've always bought used before
18x9.5 +20 running the stock 245/40/18 Advans

Mounted at stock height, aka 4x4 status lol

98ekcoupe and my other friend helping install my catback while i got us drinks and snapped a pic

Buschur 3" CrossFlow w/dual 4" tips, Also Removed the "Lancer" and "Mitsubishi" badge from the trunk. left the diamond and Evo badge

(PS good eye to anyone who spotted the OEM window visors, I don't smoke but love windows down)

So I got sick of the 4x4 status so i did a whole lot of reading and comparing etc.. ended up getting GTWorx springs. I love them lol, its a nice drop but nothing crazy so i can still play in the snow, springs rates are designed for stock struts so i don't blow them out fast, and ride quality is awesome.

So i have only 1 decal actually on the car

IMO it looks great.

So for some reason most GG X's came with chrome mirrors and we all know how they suck balls.

Rexpeed CF mirror overlays, quality is good and solves my issue and adds subtle CF to the car. only 3mm thick so it looks like it kinda came that way.

2 Days later I went to Akuma to get tuned

Also have RA UR mudflaps with gray lettering.

I had an intake setup but john wanted to test the Akuma intake over what i had to see if it made more power, gave me a good price and installed for free

At Akuma stock X's usually make about 210whp, their mustang dyno reads really low. So with an UICP, Intake, CBE, and tune I made 277whp and 256tq. not to shabby for 3 mods and about only $700

So I had the roof rack from my MSP still and endedup calling ORSracksdirect where i bought it from and they checked everything and luckily i only needed the fitkit for the evo to make it work.

And now everyone is up to date! I have some goodies on the way and i'll post some more pics after I get them installed

looks good... simple bolt ons really are the best bang for your buck and the best fun factor with driving IMO. Hmm, I should take my own advice...

1) if you don't have the little 'clearbra' square stickers on your roof where the pads of the fairing touch down, get some! doesn't seem like it but over the course of a year it will mar up your paint a lot worse than you'd think... take it from someone who found out the hard way

2) if you're a fan of the band Disturbed, I got to go backstage for their set last night at Mayhem Fest... it was awesome
