You are better off with a good tune-up or better intake. I doubt you will see gains anywhere close to their advertised numbers or even any gains at all.
What exactly does it do to your vehicles sensors?

It works. I have it on my Accord. I was thinking of using a manual fuel pressure regulator, however, I gave the Venom 400 a try. Easy to wire-up. The boost in power depends on your mods. Keep in mind the Venom 400 is set-up for a "stock" car so you will have to tell them your other mods so they can reprogram it accordingly. If you have a mail-in-flash for your ECU the Venom will enhance the effect.
If you are "stock" it may not be worth it right now. However, if you have other mods and are looking for some more power it's not bad. Of course each car is different, however, it "feels" like I've gained 7-10hp on the Accord. My Accord runs 16.5 1/4miles... MUCH better than the stock 18 second 1/4miles.
