U-20T's GTI Big Turbo build

Hi, figured I would introduce myself and start a thread on my 2011 Autobahn.

My background besides the shop and my VW is in mainly JEEPs. My past build was a very custom regular Cherokee. Then I got my Mk4 and finally the Mk6.

I wanted to big turbo the mk4 very bad but decided to upgrade to an Mk6 since it would be new and fresh. I knew I wanted something different so at 6k on the clock the build began.

Details on the car:

2011 GTI Autobahn CBFA, Candy White.

- Unitronic BT Software
- ERmotorsport CEL elimator (diverter)
- ERmotorsport 2.5" turbo outlet piping
- ERmotorsport velocity intake and heat shield
- ERmotorsport 3.5" turbo inlet piping
- ERmotorsport diverter relocate
- eurojet SS turbo manifold
- eurojet turboback exhaust with cat
- eurojet front mount intercooler
- eurojet mkv recirculating catch can
- Synapse diverter valve

Current Mod: 3rd meth stage, BBK

why aquamist because even their on/off solenoids are a quality level way above the rest.


Boost Pressure switch to activate the third stage, mounted under dash

Helpful info:

Factory Amp Wiring for Sub install


Aquamist HFS-4 Wiring pinouts:

At ECU CBFA MKVI & MKV

Gray main harness:

T90 Connector
- Red Wire (Key Power) pin #3 (red W/ green stripe at ECU)

T60 Connector
- Yellow (FPR) pin #40 (Blue wire at ECU)
- Blue (Map) pin #23 (Green wire at ECU)
- White (Failsafe ECU side) pin #51 (Violet w/white stripe) {possible pin#3 on some models, your #51 or #3 will be empty}
- Brown (Failsafe N75 side) pin #51 (Violet w/white stripe)


Green User Harness (injectors):

T60 Connector
- Red (injector+) Pin #31 (brown w/black stripe)
- Green (injector-) Pin #33 (red w/black stripe)

Board Settings:


CEL - set to DR1
Map - set to 3 bar
Multiplier - set to 2.5x

MKV & MKVI CCTA -

t60
Map sensor is on pin #39 and not #23
WG control is on pin #3 possibly, CBFA wiring diagram showed #3 but it wasn't on an MKVI
