The Little E30 That Could

After finally saving enough cash, I've got myself another bimmer :]

I bought her in NH on a complete whim, however for the price I can't complain.

She's a 89 BMW 325IS, red of course. The previous owner had begin to prep her to be a track car in 2006, but had a child and the car has been sitting since 2007.

I've started going through her and I've found lots of new parts for her in the trunk (score!) but I need to work on putting them in, and debate on where I want to go with this car. I'm thinking the M50 swap, eventually but for now I'd just like to get all the other lovely quirks sorted out first.

Some phone snap shots for now, look for a complete write up on her tonight :D

Thanks guys, just did a little maintenance stuff, brakes, calipers and everything in-between. I've been digging into what it takes to do an M50 swap and I'd like to go that way with the build if I can grab the money and time.

I think the reason you had such a miserable time is because you neglected to urinate on yourself. I believe another contributing factor is your diet. You mentioned nothing about eating raw snakes... not even one "moral booster" snack of a handful of maggots. The first sign that things weren't right was the minute you decided to build an igloo instead of climbing inside an animal carcass. I think you failed because you lack dedication.

Update-

Began to do regular little things and discovered the car has Billstein Shocks and Struts in it- AWESOME.
Also, it came with an Esparco seat in (Evo X maybe?) it that I'm hoping to pull out and throw two matching Corbeau seats I picked up in it.

Unfortunately, the little guy has been hit in the front end, super minor, but I've got some metal to straighten out, I'm going to need new smilies, to remount the bumper and a new grill.

That aside, it's nice to have an E30 again, look for pictures soon!!!

Yuch, Corbeau seats. Which model did you get? I was not a fan of them in my old DSM. EVO's have Reccaros in them still, I think.

I had an '87 and loved it until a traffic accident ended it's life prematurely with almost 200k on the clock.
